Customer Project#226 (Torque Converters Impellers for GM, FORD Chrysler, and Performance Applications) E.G.I. engineers and manufactures torque converter impellers from 8.5 inches (racing/performance) to 14.5 diameters (street cars and trucks) for customer-specific applications. We offer both the furnace-brazing and the steel assembled versions of impellers. We aim to achieve better performance and longer life by carefully designed and specified steel with the most desirable tensile and hardness properties. Our furnace-brazing processes use unique alloy for maximum bonding to enhance TC performance. As a customer-specific project, E.G.I. produces and supplies these brand-new customized torque converter impellers with better performance and longer life at a below market rate of cost. We also give rebuilder-customers excellent options of the assembled impeller with welded flanged hub or with the matching hub packed separately to be welded onto the impeller by rebuilders themselves.
